Existential Crisis Today

I should stop reading Social Media posts, as this one has got me in a flat spin.

"The world is being run by AI set to maximise profits."

This was my train of thoughts.

• The rich and powerful will have had AI way longer than the rest of us

• There is a chance these people would use it to there advantage (just a small chance!)

• Their motivation is more money and power

• AI already runs / influences way too many investment funds

• AI already influences societal mood through social media

• How does this effect me?

• Even if I live a frugal life I am still taxed

• What is the return on my tax investment?

• What do we have now, through billions of taxes, that we did not have 20 years ago?

• Can I stop being taxed...no!

• Is the government a money laundering platform?

• Why is Ukraine getting so much money?

• I don't want share holders of big military businesses getting my tax money
